VENUS & JUPITER CONJUNCTION

            On March 2, Venus and Jupiter, two of our brightest planets in the sky will come the closest to one another they have come since 2016. Venus is one of the best known of all the Roman mythological goddesses, known as Aphrodite to the Greeks while Jupiter, known as Zeus to the Greeks was king of the gods in a manner of speaking, and Lord of the Sky. The goddess of beauty and love is the planetary partner of Gemini in esoteric astrology and is one of the most benign of all the planets, a gracious and enlightening influence which can help harmonize the communication between the opposing factors which Gemini symbolizes. Her poise and coordination can bring out the best of other aspects in relationship to her in the chart.

          Jupiter, our gas giant among planets represents expansion, benevolence, and abundance. It is associated with Aquarius and is the Lord of our Age of Aquarius, the Age of Knowledge, encouraging group work, generosity and acceptance. Thinking big and dancing light on our feet are two metaphors which work well in this new age. Both of these planets are in the sign of Aries, the sign of Creation and starting anew. When these planets and signs all come together to affect the Earth, they also manifest the power of the three major Rays of Aspect. Truth, Beauty and Goodness, the mantra of this planetary creation will literally dance together. When the planet of beauty and love dances with the planet of expansion and jollity in a perfect conjunction in the sign of Aries, anything can be created, especially when approached with the spirit of cooperation and tolerance. All hands on deck!
