OF T-SQUARES AND TRIANGLES

           In the ancient Wisdom teachings, it is said, “The Soul loves a challenge!” Our Souls must be having a party right now! October may offer a few fireworks for the party. For part of this month the Sun in Libra and Mars in Aries will be in opposition to each other while each challenges the three shoulder-to-shoulder Capricornian planets, one after another: Jupiter, Pluto, Saturn. This configuration (counting the three Capricornian planets as a single entity) is called a T-square and provides a sense of tension in the chart. Aries, Libra and Capricorn are what we call cardinal or leadership signs, the ones that want to be in charge. Mars is happily antagonistic while in its traditional sign of Aries. When he battles the Libran Sun we could call this the “I Am” battling the “We Are!” Does that sound like our world right now?

          Meanwhile, karma, darkness and joy (meanings of the three Capricorn planets) are intensifying the challenges running back and forth from two different sides. A triangle is a sacred shape. The good news is that this energy gets our attention, forces us to make decisions we’ve been putting off. All three of these signs have tremendous will power and a sense of purpose. They are also intelligent and knowledgeable. It could be an incredibly powerful time for world leaders to come together and celebrate their differences by pooling their talents to unite everyone. Aries is the creator of something new; Libra is the one who wants to be fair and hear both sides of the story. Capricorn, the center of the fulcrum is the Synthesizer. The empty leg, the last Cardinal sign that would form a Grand Cross if it were activated, is Cancer, the most caring, nurturing sign of the zodiac. If we can all focus on supplying that care for each other instead of the possible conflict, we could change the world.

 Everyone: Mars, Mercury and Uranus are all more visible than usual in the night sky. If they are your ruling planets take advantage to view and “feel” them.

Direction: Enjoy.
