EXTRA! EXTRA!

 This year, we have an extra day. “Extra” is a form of expansion and Aquarius rules both. We begin this month with the Sun and finally, our Pluto in that sign. We have previously discussed this shift of the generational planet into the sign of Aquarius with high hopes (also ruled by Aquarius) for a lighter, more aware and more inclusive era. Capricorn is the sign of Initiation, long-term karma and suffering. The past 16 years of such Capricornian influence with its often materialistic ambition, narrow focus and years of a recession, a pandemic, wars over boundaries and religion, is finally behind us and with them, we hope, the national and global divisiveness tearing humanity apart. This is the Age of Aquarius, the Age of Humanity, ALL of humanity and with Pluto finally, fully engaged in this sign expectations of more kindness, tolerance and understanding, more compassion for one another, can perhaps, be fully realized. While this past time of hardship and pain was long predicted, so has been this new era of surmounting the mountain of initiation with expanded consciousness and the exposure of unconscious actions.

          The month itself expands with more planets shifting into Aquarius until by the 17^th and 18^th we have six planets in this sign. This is when your greatest hopes and wishes can come to fruition. Then on the 19^th, earlier than in past years thanks to leap year, the sun dives into deep-water Pisces and is followed by four more planets, while Pluto, ruler of Pisces remains in the clouds to oversee the baptism (ruled by Pluto in Aquarius!). For the next 20 years Pluto in Aquarius will land in every birth chart and influence every new baptism. What a lovely concept! As we move through this month feel into the worldwide expansion which is US at our highest possible levels and take advantage of an extra day this year and this month of launching this new generosity of spirit.
