BLESSINGS AND CHALLENGES
“The seven hills before the mountain you climb.” Dr. Douglas Baker
Triangles contain the most important energy of the Universe. The Universe was created when the Word (Note, Number, Song) sounded out the first three rays – Truth, Beauty, Goodness – of the seven rays, which then dispersed down into the 12 signs of the zodiac and into the chakras of man. Every religion has a trinity – Father, Son, Holy Spirit – Vishnu, Brahma, Shiva – Osiris, Horus, Isis, etc. In astrology, a 120-degree relationship between two planets forms the beginning of a triangle, called a trine. This is considered a beneficial relationship, one which often gets overlooked as we tend not to notice our blessings as often as we notice our challenges. When three planets form trines with each other, creating a Grand Trine, it’s considered the greatest blessing possible.
But the Soul loves a challenge. Challenges offer us opportunities for growth which is less likely with a trine. Thus, we say that a trine works best with a challenge. Therefore, this month offers a great opportunity. Not only do we have an ongoing challenge between Uranus and Saturn, but we also have a Grand Trine for most of the month. That challenge is about the upheaval of the status quo, particularly in government and social systems. The Trine offers an opportunity for intellectual communication and the desire to interact and understand our fellow human beings. That challenge can be stubborn and fixed in its approach, but the Trine can lighten the mood. By the end of the month the trine shifts into a more “feeling” mode bringing back the opportunity to connect on an emotional level . . . or not. Knowing this energy flow exists however, gives us the opportunity to tap into it at the highest possible levels.
