This past month we conducted a second level Esoteric Astrology class. The students honed each new skill by analyzing a “Mystery Chart.” The title of this course is How to Approach a Horoscope and we began with the recognition that a birth chart – whether of person, event or organization – is sacred, that there is meaning and purpose behind every life and that treating every life with reverence can help bring out its highest potentialities. Gradually a picture grew of someone whose overriding purpose is to be on a Spiritual Path, to seek a relationship with the gods. This strongly Earthen chart was also a strong leader, probably political with high ambition and driven focus, almost the opposite of what one might expect of a Spiritual purpose. This chart is of someone/thing who will accomplish something big.
It was deemed a highly karmic chart as well, both long and short-term and that this was a lifetime where things needed to be worked off that had been building up for a long time. This one is meant to undergo the dark night of the Soul. Both the unconscious masses and the enlightened are literally part of this Soul’s Purpose formula. This formula incorporates the whole Earth and the future. The Journey undertaken is “outside of the box” and he/she/it may try to invoke the Spirit of the Law as opposed to the letter of the law. This one can be explosive and unpredictable yet what it seeks is the healing of humanity. After some 12 hours of class time, deep thought and wonderful use of their new skills, the guesses started flying: Jesus, Charlemagne, President Trump, Carl Jung, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Ghandi, a Founding Father, the American Revolution and the Renaissance.
Everyone: Corona Virus was announced to the world – just like a birth – December 31, 2019. The natal chart shows purpose exists in everything.
