At the end of this month, on November 1 & 2, the Wisdom for a World in Transition conference will take place in Ocala, Florida. WisdomForWorld.net  During this conference you will hear eight different folks trained or influenced by Dr. Douglas Baker on the various esoteric sciences.

The event launches with an Open House to the public at no charge on October 31 with the world-famous, stained-glass windows / panels on display. This will be the first time they’ve been on display to the public since 1975 when they were shown at the International Yoga and Esoteric Science Festival in Dallas, Texas. Douglas Baker started the series of festivals called the International Yoga and Esoteric Science Festivals in 1958. These festivals were held periodically around the world. The windows were formally displayed at the International festival in London in 1973, did not make it to Toronto in 1974 but then again in 1975 in Dallas.

Due to a story too long to tell here, they were then ensconced in the Peace Chapel of the Unity Church of Dallas for the next 30 years and finally, were rescued from potential split-up on ebay in 2005 by yours truly. For the next 20 years the dream of building them a home has been up-front in the heart and soul of SkyDance Astrology and all who know anything about them. Douglas Baker dreamed them into existence and you’ve seen their pictures in many of Baker’s books. Baker believed that when these panels were set up in a circle – a mandala – they represented everything in the Universe. In and of themselves they bring together Esoteric Psychology with the specific colors of the seven rays related to each sign. And of course, they are all about Esoteric Astrology with both the exoteric planetary rulers at the bottom of each panel and the esoteric planetary rulers at the top. Baker called Esoteric Astrology the keystone of all the Esoteric Sciences which include Esoteric Healing, Sacred Geometry, Esoteric Physiology, etc. These windows also form a non-profit organization called The Rose Window, so donations are tax-deductible. What a great way to spend a day which traditionally marked a celebration for the end of the harvest called All Saints Day or All Hallows Eve.
