At the end of May, Jupiter, ruling planet of Aquarius which rules publications entered into the sign of Gemini which rules communication and where it will remain for a year. The media is now up-front and center and as we all know, news reporting isn’t what it used to be. The days when a reporter would show up on the scene of an event with notepad and camera in hand for an accurate depiction of said event, are long gone. It seems that accuracy and technology do not necessarily go hand in hand. In an age when people can post anything about anybody and even make up events or happenings without ever having seen or been part of it, renders research for “just the facts” more than difficult. What is one to believe? As we leave the Age of Pisces, the Age of Belief, we are faced with the truth – ruled by Gemini – that mere belief is no longer enough. The age of Aquarius is the Age of Knowledge and it is sorely needed now.

Good people continue to try to do a good job as reporters, but it seems a losing game when so many more deliberately undermine them for their own ends. It has become very difficult to tell the black hats from the white hats and yet our world hangs in the balance. The upheaval, divisiveness and animosity always predicted for this time of changing Ages is clearly aided by our changing technology and access to the latest news, fake or otherwise, by all people worldwide. What a blessing; what a curse. Our job as people who chose to show up at this time is to continue to remember the true meaning of Aquarius: the Brotherhood of Man AND a time for the pouring forth of knowledge, no longer blind belief.
