By now, you are probably thinking that our slower-moving planets change signs a lot! Over the last couple of years, this topic has dominated these columns. But in fact, they really do not; it’s “coincidence” that ALL of them are changing within a couple of years and the resulting upheaval on a global level is clearly evident. It truly has been a time of major transition and transformation. These planetary changes occurring in such a short timeframe are major reasons why this time of transition between the Age of Pisces and the Age of Aquarius has always been predicted by the Ancient Wisdom as one of the most tumultuous transitions between ages ever. This month marks the last of our slow-moving giants shifting into its next level of expression. To sum up, over the last couple of years Pluto, the slowest and furthest out of our zodiacal planets shifted into Aquarius after being in Capricorn since 2008; Neptune shifted into Aries after being in Pisces since 2011 while Saturn – not so far out but hugely significant – just shifted into Aries after also being in Pisces since April of 2023. Now this month, our final giant, Uranus makes its shift from Taurus into Gemini.

Uranus dabbled its toes in Gemini’s reflection in July 2025 but then returned to Taurus. Having made its decision, Uranus shifts resolutely into Gemini on the 25^th and will more or less stay there until mid-2033. Both planet and sign have to do with education and communication. Both can have their conflictive ideas and reactions as well. Uranus, planetary ruler of Libra can be either authoritarian, demanding strict adherence to the rules, or one who thinks outside the box, depending upon its direct vs retrograde modus operandi, while Gemini loves to stir up how we think, foster debates and disperse information, truthful or otherwise. Between the two, entering into the age of AI, Fake News and Technological Scams becoming one of the greatest threats to our society are no surprise.

But beyond getting stirred up and angry, reactive and protective, what can be the higher meaning of such a combination? To learn to practice discernment, to open up to new ways of thinking, even revolutionary ways of communication and the recognition that this planet is long past shrinking and that exploration of the entire Universe invites exploration of new ways of being, of mental and spiritual awakening. This is when Time and Space themselves take on new meanings. Uranus in Gemini is a time of revolution regarding Education, Healing, Communication and of recognizing our twins in one another. With the dramatic shifts of these four planets now a fait accompli, 2026 could become one of the most important turning points in the history of humanity. We all chose to be here at this time, to make the difference meaningful on the highest possible levels. Let’s do it!
