This is a month of two full moons, May 1 and on May 31 the second full moon is called a “Blue Moon”! What a powerful and perfect month for a second full moon and two festivals in one month!! The Easter Festival began once more the series of three Spiritual festivals celebrated worldwide. As always, the date of Easter’s celebration is based astronomically and astrologically on the date of the first full moon in the sign of Aries, the sign of Spring, Renewal and Starting Over. Christians follow the same calendar by choosing the first Sunday following that first Full Moon in Aries and, Voila’! everyone on the same page, worldwide. How lovely is that?! How wonderful to lock arms and rejoice in the Renewal on Spiritual levels!
This month we follow that first festival with the second of three encouraged by the Ancient Wisdom. On May 1 we have the first full moon in Taurus, second sign of the zodiac and a sign which represents Buddha. We call this one the Wesak Festival. Like the living Christ, Buddha stands for love and compassion but also for the practice of detachment from the greed and materialism of the physical world and discrimination in order to recognize who we truly are, who we ALL truly are. In the eyes of the Ancient Wisdom the Christ and Buddha work closely together, assisting in the evolution of humanity. Then we have the Festival of Humanity on the full BLUE moon of Gemini, May 31. On that full moon we will also celebrate World Invocation Day. “World Invocation Day is a world day of prayer when men and women of every spiritual path join in a universal appeal to Divinity and use the Great Invocation.” Lucis Trust

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

May Christ return to Earth.

Direction: Two possible times when plans come to fruition!
