WHO’S THE ENEMY?

 This month, Jupiter and Pluto gear up for a potential battle with each other. The interesting part of this challenge is that both duelists change character in mid-duel. As the approach narrows and the boxing gloves come up, Jupiter suddenly shifts from the sign of Aries to the sign of Taurus while Pluto suddenly shifts from direct to retrograde still in the sign of Aquarius, both at nearly the same time, midmonth. To complicate things further, Jupiter is the natural ruler of Aquarius and therefore they share an affinity for all things, how things are done and in both cases it’s in a big way! Just when they thought they knew the antagonist, the antagonist changes and both are friends! Their differing and then shifting perspectives, while still retaining a natural affinity could either make for a big bang or for a major resolution. To increase the tension both Taurus and Aquarius are what we call “Fixed” signs meaning loyal and dependable, someone who gets the job done, but also stubborn and literally fixed, stuck, whether in their own beliefs, habits or ideas. They hate change!

Jupiter in Aries takes the lead and does everything to the max, fighting for conservative ideas but also wanting good fortune for everyone while Pluto direct in Aquarius is about our greatest hopes and wishes for all of humanity but keeping some of them secret, possibly engaging in clandestine affairs to achieve its ends. Then Jupiter shifts to Taurus and now it’s all about accumulation rather than sharing the wealth which, however is greater than ever! Now the whole point of abundance is to gather and horde. At the same time Pluto, still in Aquarius goes retrograde and secrets are revealed, plots understood. Retrogrades always mean more possibilities and less rigidness, punching through the concretization which comes with dogmatic beliefs which are long past due for a change.

 Everyone: While the battle gears up, the Sun and Earth shift into mutable (flexible) signs – Gemini and Sagittarius –midmonth which can assist in the possibility of resolution, of a challenge met and dealt with in an honorable manner beneficial to all.
