We have mentioned many times in past newsletters that Esoteric Astrology is just one of many keys to the Ageless Knowledge, the Ancient Wisdom which we also call the Esoteric Sciences. When teaching, we also take pains to point out that while each science is a whole category of studies one can spend a lifetime diving into, they are also all so entangled that it can be difficult to teach about or even talk about one of them without some or all of the others “leaking in.” In an effort to break this massive subject/s down into manageable and teachable topics, our teacher, Dr. Douglas Baker decided to break the Sciences down into 10 keys. The topics, when taken altogether, could also be called, “Life.” Life in the sense of: As Above, So Below. This life here in Earth school and that life, which we are all trying to understand.

One of the keys which also arguably could be said to be ALL of the Keys, is Esoteric Healing. Literally every key, including Esoteric Astrology, is a key to healing us on some level; physically, psychologically, spiritually. Esoteric Healing is based on the understanding that we are so much more than a physical body and that by healing other parts of us, we can also heal the body. In recent years many authors have addressed the subject of healing ourselves by recognizing that we CAN change our brain, our thinking, our beliefs and our understanding. Much to the delight of esoteric students, this has finally become a mainstream topic.

Our keynote speaker for the Symposium, Joseph Selbie has written at great length about our ability to heal ourselves. Since we are all different however, we present many different speakers who each present their own angles on various topics, which however, could all be said to be related to healing. Here we present, starting at the upper left-hand corner, Dr. Tracey Arbour who, like our Claregate teacher, Dr. Douglas Baker, began in the mundane field of medicine as a doctor of podiatry but then, due to her own health issue, moved into esoteric healing. More recently, she has collaborated with other Symposium presenters, Alan Boxall and yours truly, me, in the creation of a brand new Medical Dictionary based on the glyphs of Esoteric Astrology. With this in hand, anyone will be able to look at a chart and understand the potential for, and deeper understanding of physical, psychological and spiritual health issues.

Moving to the right, Marcus Hayward is another who was trained in the mundane world as a psychiatric nurse. He too quickly realized that there must be more and discovered Dr. Baker and metaphysics in the early 1980s. For a time he focused on supporting Baker’s endeavors with his books, videos and lectures before meeting his wife and raising a family, which meant returning to the medical field where he excelled. But upon retirement he quickly returned to a focus on metaphysical interests. Together with Rebecca Dingle, lower right, they are masters of Esoteric Psychology, or the Science of the Seven Rays. They will discuss that subject at the Symposium while each also will present other topics: Consciousness for Marcus. Rebecca Dingle spent 10 years at Dr. Baker’s side and became one of his foremost students and teachers of the Seven Rays. She will also present the topic a “Meditative Way of Life,” which is crucial to Esoteric Healing.

Finally in this lineup we include Giulia Lombardi, a Master teacher of the unique method of healing called Bach Flower Remedies or Essences. She will discuss how disease and distress are caused by our emotions and how our emotions can be treated with one of Nature’s most powerful tools, the very essences of plants. On her small farm in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany, Italy she experiences firsthand and expresses her understanding of the power and vibration of these healing plants.

Of course, we want to make it clear that every one of these presenters addresses Health and Healing on some level and from differing viewpoints; these are just four of our very special team of presenters. Join us in June to discover a particular method, presenter or insight that speaks to you.
